I guess it's my turn!
Hello all! This week has been a lot! A lot of fun, a lot of classes, a lot of zoom meetings and a lot of learning!! Things that happened: -I gave my farewell talk -I taught a lesson on the modern day weapons of rebellion -I got set apart as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints -Met my companions -Met my district -Met my teachers -Met my branch president for the in person MTC -Went to the temple for some pictures with my mom, my sister, and my nephew. One of the first things we talked about was our fears and worries about the mission. Our teacher had us imagine ourselves having a conversation with the savior and telling him all the things we were worried about. And to imagine what he might say back to comfort us. This exercise, simple as it may seem, was very eye opening for me. I was able to find what was stressing me, and share my burden with the Lord.
